Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) are standard equipment on all models. There is a DRL indicator on the instrument panel cluster assembly. Operating through the high beams at a lower than normal output, the DRL system operates under the following conditions:
1. When the engine is running.
2. When the light switch is in either the OFF or parklamps position.
3. When the parking brake is not applied. Once the parking brake is released and then reapplied, the DRL will remain operational (as long as the engine is running and the light switch is OFF or in parklamps position).
