CAUTION: Halogen bulbs contain a gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter Into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal Injury:
^ Turn the lighting system off and allow the bulb to cool before changing bulbs. Leave the lighting system off until bulb change is complete.
^ Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
^ Handle the bulb only by Its base; avoid touching the glass.
^ Do not drop or scratch the bulb.
^ Keep moisture away from the bulb.
^ Place the used bulb In the new bulb's carton and dispose of It properly.
^ Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Loosen composite headlamp bulb locking cap by rotating counterclockwise.
3. Pull bulb from composite headlamp housing.
4. One side marker lamp retaining screw from front end support panel.
5. Gently pull side marker lamp toward front, releasing retaining pin.
6. Two nuts from headlamp side brace.
7. One screw and one bolt securing headlamp trim to front end support panel.
8. Firmly, but gently, pull on bottom of headlamp lens to release retaining bar from headlamp retaining clip.
Install or Connect
1. Firmly, but gently, push bottom of headlamp lens to engage retaining bar in headlamp retaining clip.
2. Headlamp trim to front end support panel; secure with one screw, one bolt and two nuts.
Tighten
^ Headlamp trim bolt and nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb.in.).
3. Side marker lamp to vehicle; gently push toward rear until retaining pin is engaged; secure with one screw.
4. Locking cap and composite headlamp bulb to housing; secure locking cap by rotating clockwise.
5. Electrical connector to composite headlamp bulb.
6. Negative (-) battery cable.
