Tail Lamp: Description and Operation

The rear combination lamps are located on the vehicle body to each side of the rear compartment lid. Each rear combination lamp consists of single filament stoplamp, taillamp, and turn signal lamp bulbs. All are covered by a red lens. The stoplamp bulb lights whenever the stoplamp switch is closed (by depressing the brake pedal). The taillamp filament lights when either the parking lamps or headlamps are activated. The turn signal lamp bulbs are lit during turn signal operation.
