Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Wiring Diagram:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the four clips from the Air Cleaner (ACL) cover.
3. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: Push IAT sensor out from inside ACL assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Push IAT sensor into air cleaner assembly.

1. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
2. Secure the Air cleaner cover with four clips.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
TIGHTEN
^ Negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
