Control Cables

The transaxle is shifted by using a push-pull type remote control that is similar to other transverse-mounted engine vehicles. Shift lever movement is transmitted to the transaxle by a rigid cable. This allows vibration from the engine and transaxle to be absorbed by the cable assembly, and not be transmitted to the body or shift lever.
