Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check GAUGE Fuse and DEF-I/UP Fuse.
2. Check Defogger Fusible Link.
3. Check that the Audio Alarm Module and Defogger Relay are mounted securely in Junction Block 1.
4. Check that G200 and G301 are clean and tight.
5. Check that Rear Defogger grid is continuous and free from damage.
6. Check for an open or shorted filament in the inoperative lamp.
7. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
