Washer Operation

The washer system consists of a washer fluid reservoir, a washer pump attached to the reservoir, hoses, nozzles and a washer switch. On vehicles not equipped with ABS, the washer fluid reservoir is mounted on the right wheelhousing, immediately behind the headlamp. On vehicles equipped with ABS, it is mounted between the fender and the fender apron on the right side of the vehicle and is accessible by removing the plastic wheelhousing. The washer system is activated by pushing a button at the end of the combination (wiper/washer) lever. The washer will operate until the button is released. When the washer system is activated, the wipers will operate at low speed regardless of the lever's position.
