REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the Negative battery cable.
2. Remove the Carpet retainer from carpet retaining bracket.
3. Pull back the carpet from the floor under the glove box.
4. Remove the Two bolts.
5. Remove the ECM/PCM with carpet retainer bracket from mounting bracket.
6. Disconnect the three electrical connectors from ECM/PCM.
7. Remove the ECM/PCM from the vehicle.
8. Remove one screw and carpet retaining bracket from ECM/PCM.
9. Remove the plastic cover from top of the ECM/PCM.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the plastic cover to the top of the ECM/PCM.
2. Install the carpet retaining bracket to ECM/PCM.
3. Secure the carpet retaining bracket with one screw.
4. Connect the three electrical connectors to the ECM/PCM.
5. Position the ECM/PCM into the mounting bracket, making sure that bracket slides into slot.
6. Attach the carpet retainer to mounting bracket.
7. Secure the carpet retainer bracket with two bolts.
TIGHTEN
^ ECM/PCM mounting bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
8. Attach carpet to carpet retaining bracket by inserting carpet retainer into bracket. Connect the negative battery cable.
TIGHTEN
^ Negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
