Engine Data
Engine Speed - Range 0-9999 RPMEngine speed is calculated by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) from the ignition reference pulses it receives from the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor. The PCM will keep this value close to the desired idle under various engine loads with the engine idling.
TP Angle - Range 0%-100%
The Throttle Position (TP) sensor has a potentiometer whose resistance changes with the throttle valve position. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) provides a 5 volt reference voltage to the TP sensor. The PCM reads the voltage across the TP sensor and converts it into throttle position. When the TP sensor resistance decreases (throttle valve opening increases), the voltage being monitored at the PCM increases. When the TP sensor resistance increases (throttle valve opening decreases), the voltage being monitored at the PCM decreases.
ECT - Range 40°C-120°C/-40°F-250°F
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is a thermistor (a variable resistor that changes with temperature) in series with a fixed resistor in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM provides a 5 volt reference voltage to the ECT sensor. The PCM reads the voltage across the ECT sensor and calculates this voltage reading into a temperature reading. A low voltage reading at the PCM indicates a hot engine and a high voltage reading at the PCM indicates a cold engine.
IAT - Range 40°C-120°C/-40°F-250°F
The intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is a thermistor (a variable resistor that changes with temperature) in series with a fixed resistor in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM provides a 5 volt reference voltage to the IAT sensor. The PCM reads the voltage across the IAT sensor and calculates this voltage reading into a temperature reading.

IAC Duty Cycle - Range 0-100%
The duty ratio signal applied to the Rotary Solenoid idle Air Control Valve is displayed as the percentage of time that the voltage is high. The open coil side of the IAC. The longer the duty ratio (higher percent open time), the greater the air by-pass volume, the higher the idle speed.
Misfire RPM - Range 0-9999 RPM
Freeze Frame data stored when a misfire is detected by the PCM. This parameter represents the engine RPM at the moment that the misfire code was set.
Misfire Load - Range 0-100%

O2S 1 - Range 0 - 1250mV
The Oxygen Sensor (O2S) is the primary input to the fuel delivery system. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the (O2S) voltage, when the system is in "Closed Loop" operation. When the voltage reading is high, the air/fuel mixture is rich, and when the voltage reading is low the air/fuel mixture is lean. Under normal operating conditions, the voltage reading should constantly fluctuate.
H02S2 - Range 0 - 1250mV
The Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S 2) represents the exhaust oxygen output voltage beyond the catalytic converter. This voltage will remain inactive or appear lazy within a range of 100mV (lean exhaust) and 900 mV (rich exhaust) when the system is operating in "Closed Loop."
Short Term FT - Range 0 - 255 (-100% to 100%)
This value represents the short term corrections to the air/fuel mixture computation. A value of 128 indicates that no correction is necessary. A value below 128 indicates an enleanment condition, and a value above 128 indicates an enrichment condition.
Long Term FT - Range 0 - 255 (-100% to 100%)
This value represents the long term corrections to the air/fuel mixture computation. A value of 128 indicates that no correction is required. A value below 128 indicates an enleanment condition, and a value above 128 indicates an enrichment condition.
Total Fuel Trim
Total fuel trim correction to the injectors. The average value is 1.00 counts. A value less than 1.00 indicates a reduction in the fuel injection duration to correct the rich condition. A value greater than 1.00 indicates an increase in the fuel injection duration to correct a lean condition. This number should remain fairly stable.
Diagnostic Mode - Range Normal/Check Mode
Indicates whether the vehicle is in a Normal diagnostic Mode, or in Check Mode.
02S 1 Lean/Rich Response Time
The O2S 1 switch time from lean to rich, displayed in milliseconds. Affected by the age and condition of the O2S 1.
O2S 1 Rich/Lean Response Time
The O2S 1 switch time from rich to lean, displayed in milliseconds. Affected by the age and condition of the O2S 1.
HO2S 2 Rich/Lean Response Time
The HO2S 2 switch time from rich to lean, displayed in milliseconds. Affected by the age and condition of the HO2S 2.
Decel Fuel Enl. - Range Inactive/Active
An Inactive/Active status of the deceleration enleanment program in the PCM. An "Active" signal is given whenever deceleration enleanment is commanded as a result of a rapid deceleration taking place.
Loop Status - Range Open/Closed
A "Closed Loop" status indicates that the Oxygen Sensor (O2S 1) is hot enough for the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to control fuel delivery. An "Open Loop" status indicates that the 02S 1 is cold and the PCM bases fuel delivery on throttle position and mass air flow.
