NOTE: On some later models, the mixture adjusting screws are covered by hole caps, which can be easily removed with suitable tool. The following procedure applies to models with metal concealment plugs.
1. Remove carburetor from engine.
2. Install drill bit stop, 1/8 inch from tip, on a 1/8 inch drill bit, then drill through center of mixture adjusting screw concealment plug. Do not drill deeper than 1/8 inch to avoid damage to idle mixture adjusting screw.
3. Screw a 5 mm sheet metal screw into the concealment plug, then remove plug from hole using a pair of pliers, Fig. 25.
4. Reinstall carburetor.
