Coupe & CRX

1. Remove dashboard lower panel under instrument panel, Fig. 14.
2. Remove heater control knob and lower panel, then the heater control mounting screws.
3. Remove instrument panel upper attaching screws.
4. Pull instrument panel slightly away from dashboard, then disconnect electrical connectors and remove panel.
5. Remove four instrument cluster attaching screws, then pull instrument cluster assembly slightly away from dashboard and remove wire connectors.

6. Remove speedometer cable then the instrument cluster, Fig. 15.
7. Reverse procedure to install.

Hatchback & Sedan


1. Remove instrument panel upper caps, then four mounting screws and the panel, Fig. 16.
2. Remove four instrument cluster attaching screws, the lift cluster assembly to gain access to wiring connectors and speedometer cable.
3. Remove wire connectors and speedometer cable, then the instrument cluster assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

Wagon

1. Remove dashboard lower panel, Fig. 17.
2. Working under dashboard, remove four instrument panel attaching bolts, then disconnect wire connectors and speedometer cable.
3. Remove instrument panel with instrument cluster attached.
4. Remove cluster to panel attaching screws, then the instrument cluster assembly.
