Gap Between Panels:

Gap Between Side and Rear Trim PanelsPROBLEM

A gap between the side and rear trim panels in the luggage area.

Side and Rear Panels.:

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1. Loosen the 4 screws holding the rear trim panel in place.

2. Pull the panel rearward to obtain the best fit between the side and rear panels.

3. Drill a 3/16 inch hole through both panels in the location shown.

Rear Panel:

4. Bend back the rear panel and fit a 4 mm J nut onto the edge of the side panel, so it lines up with the hole you drilled.

5. Fasten the two panels together by installing a self-tapping screw.
