Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove steering wheel.





2. Remove 3 retaining screws from under upper side of instrument cluster bezel, spray suitable vinyl protector between instrument panel and bezel, then remove bezel.

NOTE: It may be necessary to pry the bezel upward and insert a suitable puller behind the lower edge of the bezel, Fig. 25, in order to free the bezel from the instrument panel.





3. Remove 4 screws securing instrument cluster and pull cluster away from instrument panel.
4. Disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors, then remove instrument cluster.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
