Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

WARNING: Don't smoke when working with fuel systems. Keep open flames out of work areas.

Fuel Pump:

1. Remove left access cover trunk.
2. Be sure ignition switch is OFF.
3. Disconnect electrical connector and fuel lines.
4. Remove pump mounting bolts and remove pump from tank.

Note: It may be necessary to loosen fuel tank mounting nuts and slide tank down if pump is hard to remove.

5. Reverse steps to refit pump. Be sure seal is in place.
6. Check for leaks.
