Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (Resetting the Control Module)

CLEARING CODES

Following diagnosis and repair, disconnect Hazard fuse for at least 10 seconds to clear and reset ECU memory. Check that LED is off after reconnecting fuse.

NOTE: Disconnecting battery ground cable for at least 10 seconds will clear ECU memory. However, other settings and memories (digital radio presets, clock, etc.) may also be lost.
