Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

WARNING: Don't smoke when working with fuel systems. Keep open flames out of work areas.

Fuel Pump:

1. Lift rear of car with jack or raise car on hoist and remove left rear wheel.
2. Be sure ignition switch is OFF
3. Clamp off fuel lines to pump.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors and fuel lines.
5. Remove bolts securing pump mount and remove mount complete with pump.
6. Remove pump from mount.
7. Reverse steps to refit pump.
8. Check for leaks.
