The air intake system supplies filtered, temperature controlled air to the carburetor. It consists of the air cleaner, and air intake pipe, carburetor, intake manifold, and air intake control system.
The air control system maintains a uniform air temperature inside the air cleaner of approximately 25°C (77°F). The carburetor recieves fresh air, controlled within a narrow temperature range, regardless of outside temperature.
