Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Fuel Pump Testing:

1. Remove the left maintenance access cover in the luggage compartment.
2. Disconnect fuel lines and electrical connector.
3. Remove the 6 fuel pump mounting nuts.
4. Lift fuel pump assembly from fuel tank.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal with the following additions:
a. Replace O-ring seal.
b. Torque mounting nuts to 4.3 lbs-ft (6 Nm).
