ALB Checker Warranty and Repair Information
To properly repair cars equipped with an Anti-lock Brake System, your checker must function properly at all times. If you have a problem with your checker, refer to the following warranty and repair information.

NOTE: It is not necessary to check the Anti-lock Brake System at PDI with the checker.


WARRANTY PERIOD

This warranty begins on the date the ALB Checker is purchased from American Honda Inc., as shown on the shipment listing, and extends for the periods listed below:

ALB Checker T/N 07HAJ-SG0010A:

^ LED and Print Board Assembly: 5 years

^ Switches: 3 years

^ Harness and Case: 1 year


WARRANTY COVERAGE

Satori Electric will repair or replace, at its option, any part that is found defective in material or workmanship under normal use. All repairs made under this warranty will be free of charge for parts and labor providing:

^ The product was used in accordance with instructions, labels, and precautions.

^ The product fails during the warranty period indicated above.
This warranty does not cover:

^ Damage or loss due to improper product operation or product modification.

^ Damage or loss after the product was dropped or hit.

^ Damage or loss due to unnatural or natural disasters, including earthquakes, fire, storms, floods, lightning, and salt air.

^ Damage or loss that occurred during shipping.

NOTE: Pack the checker carefully in the original carton, or equivalent, to prevent further damage during shipping.

Checkers within warranty:

Ship freight collect and include: -

^ The warranty card.

^ A copy of the AH shipment listing.

^ A description of the problem.

^ Dealer name, dealer number, contact name, address, and phone number.

NOTE: You must include a copy of the AH shipment listing or a prior repair invoice to establish proof of warranty coverage.
Checkers out-of-warranty:
Ship freight prepaid and include:

^ A description of the problem.

^ Dealer name, dealer number, contact name, address and phone number.

A flat-rate fee will be charged for any single repair or combination of repairs. (Contact Satori Electric for their current fees.) You will be contacted if the checker is unrepairable. Out-of-warranty repairs are warranted for 90 days from the date of repair.

The checker will be repaired within two business days if possible. If the repair requires more than two business days, an ALB Checker will be sent to you.

After the repair has been completed, Satori Electric will ship the checker freight prepaid (for in-warranty repairs) or C.O.D. (for out-of-warranty repairs). Instructions for returning the loaner will be included; the loaner checker must be returned to Satori Electric within two business days after receipt of the repaired checker.

NOTE: Replacement 6-P checker harness connectors can be ordered from Satori Electric. The order must be mailed or faxed in. (However, you can call regarding price and availability.)
