Headlamp: Service and Repair
Headlights ReplacementCAUTION:
^ Halogen headlights can become very hot in use; do not touch them or the attaching hardware immediately after they have been turned off.
^ Do not try to replace or clean the headlights with the lights on.
1. Disconnect the 2-P connectors from each bulb. Before disconnecting the right side connectors, remove the battery and the coolant reservoir.
2. Turn the retaining ring nut to position OPEN, then remove the bulb.
3. Remove the screw and the side marker light, then disconnect the 2-P connectors.
4. Remove the front grille and the front bumper.
5. Remove the 5 mount bolts, then remove the unit.
6. After installing the unit, adjust the headlights to local requirements.
