Antitheft and Alarm Systems: Service and Repair

Prior to disconnecting battery, removing fuse No. 43 or removing the radio, perform the following procedure:

1. Obtain 5-digit theft protection code number from vehicle owner.
2. Enter code number prior to disconnecting battery ground cable.
3. Perform required service.
4. Reconnect battery ground cable (power to radio).
5. Turn radio to On position, ``CODE'' will be displayed, enter 5-digit code to restore operation.
