Control Arm: Service and Repair

Checking Upper Control Arm For Play:

1. Loosen the front wheel lug nuts.
2. Raise the front end of the car and place safety stands in the proper locations.
3. Remove the front wheels.
4. Rock the upper ball joint front-to-back.
5. If there is any play, replace the upper arm assembly.
