SYMPTOM
A loud knocking noise comes from the front end when driving over bumps.
PROBABLE CAUSE
A stabilizer bushing has moved out of position, allowing the stabilizer bar to rattle.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the stabilizer bar bushing with the new part listed under PARTS INFORMATION.
1. Raise the car on a lift.
2. Remove both stabilizer bushing holders.
3. Remove the original stabilizer bushings.
4. Install the new stabilizer bushings.
5. Install the bushing holders and torque the nuts and bolts to 22 N-m (2.2 kg-m, 16 lb.ft.).
