Window is Hard to Raise or Lower
SYMPTOM
The driver's side or passenger's side window is hard to roll up or down, or it binds.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The glass has come out of the run channel.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Adjust the window regulator and run channel.
1. Remove the door panel. Refer to page 20-5 of the service manual.
2. Use a razor blade to cut the rain protector adhesive, then peel back the protector. Be careful not to damage the rain protector.
3. Roll the window up all the way. Loosen the mounting bolt and adjust the center channel forward as far as it will go. Tighten the mounting bolt.
4. Loosen the two roller guide mounting bolts. Use a Phillips screwdriver to push the rear of the roller guide down as far as it will go. Tighten the bolts.
5. Lubricate the run channel with silicone spray. Clean up any excess.
6. Roll the window up and down.
^ If the window now works properly, go to step 10.
^ If the window is still hard to to operate, continue with step 7.
7. Loosen the rear roller guide mounting bolt, and remove the front roller guide mounting bolt.
8. Use a rat-tail file to extend the front roller guide mounting bolt slot downward 1 to 2 mm. Apply touch-up paint to the bare metal.
9. Make sure both roller guide mounting bolts are adjusted to the bottom of their slots, then tighten the bolts to 5.8 lb.ft. (8 N-m, 0.8 kg-m).
10. Raise the window. Make sure the glass is fully in contact with the seal to prevent wind noise and water leaks.
11. Reinstall the rain protector and door panel.
