Thermal Limiting Fuse: Service and Repair

1. Remove the bolt, field coil terminal, and thermal protector retainer.

Thermal Protector Replacement:

2. Remove the thermal protector. Remove the residue of silicone sealant from the top of the thermal protector.

Application Of Silicon Sealant To Thermal Protector:

3. Apply silicone sealant to the top of the thermal protector.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
