Trunk Lid ReplacementNOTE:
^ An assistant is helpful when removing the trunk lid.
^ Take care not to damage the trunk lid and body.
^ Open the trunk lid.
1. Remove the harness grommet, clip and disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the trunk lid.
3. Remove the wire harness from the trunk lid.
NOTE: Before pulling out the wire harness, tie a string to the end of it so you can pull it back in when the trunk lid is reinstalled.
4. If necessary, remove the trunk lid hinge.
5. If necessary, remove the support strut
6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
^ Make sure the trunk lid locks securely.
^ Make sure the trunk lid opens properly.
^ Adjust the trunk lid alignment. Adjustments
