Rear Seat ReplacementNOTE: Take care not to scratch the seat covers and body.
1. Fold the seat-back forward, then remove the clip.
2. Remove the seat-back.
3. Remove the seat cushion.
4. Remove the seat side bolsters by lifting them upward.
5. If necessary, remove the rear seat latch, lock cylinder and rear seat pivot bracket.
Rear seat latch/Lock cylinder removal:
Pry the rear shelf up after removing the rear shelf trim panel and seat lock cover.
NOTE: Take care not to bend the lock rod.
Rear seat pivot bracket removal:
NOTE: When installing the pivot bracket, apply grease to it.
6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
NOTE:
^ Make sure the seat-back locks securely.
^ In necessary, adjust the rear seat latch and seatback
^ Before attaching the seat-back, seat side bolsters and seat cushion, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the rear seat belts and center belt.
