Prior to troubleshooting the speed control system, check the No. 1 (10A) and No. 4 (7.5A) fuses in the fuse box and the No. 30 (20A) fuse in the underhood fuse/relay box. If fuses are operating, ensure horn sounds and tachometer functions properly. Refer to troubleshooting sequence, Fig. 2.
