Holes in Floor Carpet

SYMPTOM
The carpet tears at the left foot well area.

PROBABLE CAUSE

The carpet is not supported under the left corner.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Install the two cushions listed under PARTS INFORMATION before replacing the carpet.

1. Remove the old carpet. Refer to section 20 of the appropriate service manual.





2. Peel the backing from the side sill cushion. Install the cushion on the floor against the side sill.

3. Peel the backing from the floor mat cushion, and install it next to the side sill cushion.

4. Install the new carpet.
