Prior to troubleshooting the speed control system, check No. 15 (10A) and No. 24 (15A) or No. 12 (15A) fuses in the fuse box and the No. 41 (80A), No. 39 (50A) and No. 42 (20A) fuses in the relay box. If fuses are operating, ensure horn sounds properly and tachometer functions properly. Refer to troubleshooting sequence, Fig. 4.
