Air Induction System

PURPOSE

The Intake Air System supplies the engine with filtered air. The system is designed to silence the air flow while minimizing restriction.

OPERATION

Air enters through the Air Cleaner Housing which includes a Resonator to silence the air flow, and through the Air Filter. From the Air Cleaner the air passes through the Intake Air Duct, Throttle Body, Intake Manifold, and into the combustion chamber.
