Fuel System And Evaporative Emissions Component Locations:

PURPOSE
The purpose of the Fuel Supply System is to supply fuel to the Fuel Injectors, in sufficient quantities and pressure to allow the Engine Control Module (ECM) to precisely control the air/fuel ratio. A Fuel Tank is used as a reservoir.

OPERATION
The fuel supply system consists of a Fuel Tank, Fuel Filler Cap, in-tank high pressure Fuel Pump, Main Relay, Fuel Filter, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Pulsation Damper and Fuel Injectors and the Fuel Supply and Return Lines.
