Clearance Inspection

1. Measure the clearance between the thrust shim and 1st gear.




2. If the clearance is more than the service limit, select and install the appropriate thrust shim for the correct clearance from the chart.




3. Measure the clearance between 2nd and 3rd gears.




4. If the clearance is more than the service limit, select and install the appropriate spacer for the correct clearance from the chart.
