Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. Drain engine oil into a suitable container, then turn crankshaft align white groove on crankshaft pulley with pointer on timing belt cover.
2. Remove cylinder head cover, then remove timing belt upper cover.
3. Remove alternator belt, crankshaft pulley and timing belt lower cover.
4. Remove timing belt as outlined under Timing Belt, then timing belt drive pulley.
5. Remove oil pan and oil screen.
6. Remove mounting bolts and oil pump assembly.
