Differential: Testing and Inspection

BACKLASH INSPECTION
1. Place the differential assembly on V-blocks and install both axles.
2. Measure the backlash of both pinion gears. Standard (New): 0.05 - 0.15 mm (0.002 - 0.006 inch)

NOTE: If the backlash is not within the standard, replace the differential carrier.
