Audio Unit Removal

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures in the SRS section before performing repairs or service.
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
2. Remove the radio panel assembly.
3. Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the radio frame and audio unit from the dashboard.

Audio Unit Removal:

4. Disconnect the 16P connector and antenna lead, then remove the audio unit.

Audio Unit Removal:

5. Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the audio unit from the radio frame.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
7. After installing the audio unit, enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
