SYMPTOM
The MIL comes on with DTC P1164 (air/fuel ratio sensor performance problem).
PROBABLE CAUSE
Specific customer driving habits may cause the ECM/PCM to set a false DTC P1164.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
*Replace the ECM/PCM with the improved part.*

DIAGNOSIS
*Use the PGM Tester to confirm that DTC P1164 is stored.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Replace the ECM/PCM with the appropriate part listed under PARTS INFORMATION. For replacement information, see How to Remove the ECM/PCM for Testing on page 11-4 of the 1998-01 Accord Service Manual.*
