DIAGNOSIS

1. Using the PGM Tester, clear the DTC(s) by choosing DTC/DATA CLEAR in the PGM-FI TEST MENU screen.

NOTE: Do not clear the DTC(s) by choosing ECM RESET in the PGM-FI TEST MENU screen or by pulling the PCM fuse. These methods would erase the PCM's long-term memory and abort the diagnosis procedure.

2. With the transmission in Park, rev the engine until engine speed is above 4,500 RPM. Slowly release the throttle until it falls to 4,500 RPM. Hold it there for one minute.
