Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Bulb type:
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Fold down the rear seat, and disconnect the 2P connector from the high mount brake light.




3. First push the high mount brake light toward the rear window, then pull it up to release the hooks.
4. Clean the rear window glass, then install the light in the reverse order of removal.

LED type:
1. Remove the two screws from the high mount brake light.




2. Disconnect the connectors from the high mount brake light, and remove the light.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the trunk spoiler and trunk.

3. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.
