How to Reset the MCM
You can reset the MCM in either of two ways:

Reset the MCM with the OBD II scan tool or Honda PGM Tester
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II). Do not start the engine.
2. Use the OBD II scan tool or Honda PGM Tester to clear the DTC.

NOTE: For specific operations, refer to the user's manual that came with the scan tool or Honda PGM Tester.

Reset the MCM by removing the fuse
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.





2. Remove the No. 9 BACK UP (10A) fuse (A) from the under-hood fuse/relay box (B) for 60 seconds.

NOTE: This will cause the IMA battery level indicator to read 0 bars.
