Stalling in Reverse or Drive After Doing S/B 02-003

1996-04 Civic HX with CVT

SERVICE TIP:
You've done the repair procedure in S/B 02-003, Shudder, Judder, Surging, Shock, Noise, or Idle Fluctuation, on a 1996-04 Civic HX with CVT. Now the vehicle stalls when you shift to Reverse or Drive, or you hear nasty sounding bang. Check if the connectors for the start clutch control solenoid and the shift control solenoid are crossed. If they are, uncross them, and retest.
