DTC P2227: BARO Sensor Range/ Performance Problem*

NOTE: Information marked with an asterisk (*) applies to '04 model.

1. Reset the ECM.
2. Start the engine. Hold the engine at 3,000 rpm with no load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
3. Test-drive with the transmission in 4th gear.
4. Accelerate for 5 seconds using wide open throttle.
5. Check for a Temporary DTC with the scan tool.

Is Temporary DTC P1106 (P2227)* indicated?

YES - Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original ECM.

NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
