REPAIR PROCEDURE

Pin Replacement

1. Empty the trunk. Remove the spare tire cover, the left side trunk side trim panel, and the spare tire.

2. Reach forward and up through the trunk, to the back side of the roll bar upper trim. Remove the nuts holding the male pins, and replace the male pins on the trim.

3. Remove the four screws securing the coat hooks then remove the roll bar lower trim from behind both seats.

4. Remove the lower screw from each rear side trim piece next to the seats and, using a puller, remove the clip.

5. Remove both rear side trim pieces. Replace the single male pin on each rear side trim piece.

6. Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of removal.

Snap Replacement

1. Inspect the inside of each snap to determine which ones need replacing.

2. Use snap-ring pliers to remove the damaged snap(s) from the convertible top cover.

3. Apply Hondalock 2 to the threads, and then install the new snap(s) to the convertible top cover.

4. Inform the customer of the proper way to use the snaps.
