DTC P16C1 (91): Motor Control Module (MCM) Program Not Installed (Motor Control Program)DTC P16C2 (92): Motor Control Module (MCM) Program Not Installed (Battery Condition Monitor Program)
NOTE: If DTC P16C1 is stored at the same time as DTC P0A27, troubleshoot DTC P16C1 first, then recheck for P0A27.
1. Update the MCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good MCM.
2. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES - If DTC P16C1, P16C2 is indicated, replace the original MCM. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO - If the MCM was updated, troubleshooting is complete. If the MCM was substituted, replace the original MCM.
