Blower Motor Is Noisy or Blower Motor Speed Is Reduced

SYMPTOM

The blower motor makes excessive noise, has a reduced speed, or intermittently does not work.

PROBABLE CAUSE

There is a poor contact area on the blower motor commutator.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the blower motor.

WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the connector from the blower motor.





2. Remove the three blower motor screws and the blower motor.

3. Install a new blower motor with the three screws, then connect the connector.

4. Check the operation of the blower motor.
