Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check and/or replace the MTF. MTF Inspection and Replacement

2. Check the detent ball springs.

3. Check the teeth of the synchro rings and the gears. Synchro Ring and Gear Inspection

4. Check for bent, deformed, or damaged shift forks.
