Set Speed Does Not Resume When Resume/Accel Button Pressed (Cruise Main Button Pressed On, Set Spd Canceled By Pressing Clutch)

Set speed does not resume when the resume/accel button is pressed (with the cruise control main button pressed on, and set speed temporarily canceled by pressing the clutch pedal)

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check for PGM-FI DTCs. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

2. Check the clutch pedal position switch adjustment. Adjustments

3. Do the cruise control input test. Component Tests and General Diagnostics Test the cruise control resume/accel switch signal input. Test the clutch pedal position switch signal input.

4. Do the cruise control set/decel, resume/accel, cancel switch test. Cruise Control Set/Decel, Resume/Accel, Cancel Switch Test/Replacement

Also check for:

- Open circuit, loose or disconnected terminals: LT GRN/BLK wire
- Faulty clutch pedal position switch
