Audio unit disc indicator does not work (without navigation)

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first. Testing and Inspection
- Check the connections for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Audio disc with labels should not be used in the audio unit. They may damage the player mechanism.

1. Turn on the audio system.

2. Insert a known-good disc.

Is the DISC indicator (LED) indicated?

YES -

The audio unit is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at audio unit and center panel.�

NO -

Substitute a known-good audio unit Audio Unit Removal/Installation (Without Navigation), and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original audio unit. If the symptom is still present, substitute a known-good center panel Audio Unit Removal/Installation (Without Navigation), and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original center panel.�
