Advanced Diagnostics - DTC P062F (60): Motor Control Module (MCM) Internal Circuit EEPROM Error (Motor) (IMA System)
DTC P062F (61): Motor Control Module (MCM) Internal Circuit EEPROM Error (Battery) (IMA System)

General Description

The motor control processor and the battery control processor in the motor control module (MCM) store control data to each EEPROM. The motor control processor or the battery control processor compares the data input to and read out from each EEPROM, and when the data does not match, the MCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Monitor Execution, Sequence, Duration, DTC Type, OBD Status

Enable Conditions

Malfunction Threshold
The data input to or read out from the EEPROM does not match.

Diagnosis Details

Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the MCM memory.

Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the battery.
