DTC 1406:

Audio Error 6

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- This navigation DTC sets when a mechanical malfunction in the audio unit internal radio tuner.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

3. Check for the hard error code.

Is DTC 1406 indicated?

YES -

Check if the audio system (AM/FM radio functions) are working properly. If any problems are found, go to affected troubleshooting in audio section.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
